Guy in Indo makes em for rocky's. If you buy one, and it all works out, i'd get one for sure.

Just buy the zook. I did in the end, and it will kill a rocky :D (ask Nick - HotFourOk). But if you want to keep rocky, weld the sucker. Or swap to hilix diffs, or MQ patrol diffs.

Yeh, the zook rawks

 After a locker, you'll want bigger tyres... then diff gearing and low range gears aren't available either... in the end, buy something else if you're really into hardcore modding.

If you havent bought them, try them first and see if you are happy with the low range reduction. I ran 33's on my old one for a trial, and they low range sucked even worse than it already was.

Yeah, in standard trim I'd go for a Rock over a Zook, but its availability of parts which puts them in front for hardcore offroading.

I think Laytos low range is 70:1 reduction? Ours is ~30 or so? You don't really need the extra power in that case! :D

I love my Rock though... just can't buy much for it
I wouldn't fit in a zook either LOL and half my crap wouldn't!

Funny you mention that. My rocky had 34:1 crawl ratio, a zook (NT) is 30:1. Not much there. Then put a set of gears in the zook and its at 50:1 at least. As for standard Vs modified, having owned both there isnt much in it. If you intend to run 33's on a 30:1 reduction and will be happy with this, your agrument about the zooks crappy standard power and low range is null and void.'
