That amount of torque doesn't sound right to me next to that amount of power.

It's like 1400 Nm isn't it? And 145kW, when a stock TB42 makes 125kW and 320Nm.

Are we talking about power/torque at the wheels or at the flywheel?

Does it feel a lot quicker?
This is not legal advice.

stock tb doesn't make 125kw at the wheels more like 70 + on 35's :)

sounds pretty bad to me, for starters the thing needs an intercooler to bring the inlet temps down, from there you can put more ignition timing boost and fuel into it, to make more power

p.s. dont use a cheap chinese intercooler, they dont flow, or cool efficiantly and you will only have to spend more money again.

Thanks mate my pod filter is pretty much like 2" away from the turbo and gets hot do you think this would be killing much peformance?

Also i'm not sure if i have a Garrett turbo or not becuase the people said it should have a Garrett tag. Mine doesn't and i asked the guy it doesn't he reakons becuase it was a custom build :?

Any help with other suggestions

pod filters are good for nothing, your going to want to get some nice clean air from outside the car, find a nice big air box, the less restrictions you you have the more efficient the turbo will get so keep all you piping big. but you still need a good intercooler. i can't stress that enough!!!!

Yeah i understand i need a intercooler but i thought it would get alot better HP then that IMHO .

How much extra hp roughly would i get from a intercooler?

a good cooler will cost you app 1200$ you just have to make it fit, as far how much h/p it will make depends alot on your ignition system the size and type of turbo that you have, exhaust and inlet manifold, intercooler size and efficiancy, carby and fuel, and the nut who is tuning it and if he has a brain or not.

bugger the free sevice and the sticker you only want to do it once, and the right way the first time. otherwise you may as well through you money down the drain. it'll end up costing you twice as much to do it a second time.

said that weeks ago.. but he likes his pod. stuck in engine bay with all the heat, all it will do is suck hot air, and lose power. even pipework down behind the bar, outside of engine bay would be better.

Is it going to be used offroad?

the bigger the turbo you put on the more kw you will make, it comes down to you where you want to make the power e.g where it come in and what it makes power to. no good putting a huge turbo on as it will be lagy come on boost late take a while to spool up, and not be usable power or torque.
