I have yet to get a response from anybody who KNOWS how to find an adjustable panhard for a Pajero. I need to re-centre my diff before I take it in for rego inspection (tyre outside the guard on driver's side, inside on passenger's side.)
I have been offered a Patrol rod, but they can't tell me if it will fit.
Somebody else has offered to make something fit, for a higher price.
Yet another must be flat out working, and the PM is still in my Outbox.
Surely somebody's SAS'd Paj has an adjustable Panhard? What was used?

Scott I have an adjustable panhard on the rear of mine. I bought it off a mate who had originally made it for his GQ. I just had to buy bushes to suit.
It was easy to fit, just put it on wind the bar out a bit, put it in place, give the car a good shake around and repeat if it needed adjusting.

You might find that an 'off the shelf' Patrol one might fit. Mine is a custom one that they guy built to fit his patrol. I just went into the local suspension shop with it and said "I need a bush that will fit in here, with this size hole in the middle."

I discussed this option with the engineer, and he didn't think it was worth the effort - my lift isn't that big, the angle isn't that great, but he doesn't like the forces which can be exerted on the mount (according to his calculations.) He has previously calculated that under certain bump conditions the force on the mount can be huge, and he was concerned a longer bracket would exert more leverage.Lordtrunks wrote:I made a drop down bracket at work for mine I did notice the truck handles better.
He was quite happy with the way the Paj handles as it is, and the adjustable rod is only to re-centre the diff - he's not concerned by the angle of the rod.
