Im planning on fitting a 50 mm body lift to my gu coil cab
im after any tip's on whats needed and what to look out for.
This is what ive been able to find so far.
50 mm longer than standard H/T bolts
6 nylon body blocks
need to remove bottom rad shroud
loosen steering knuckle when lifting
possibly need to modifiy clutch line
Any other help would be great.

gu body lift
rvh96 i have noticed in your post that your not a fan of body lift's
the reasons for me are my 3 inch lift is only 4 months old and i cant afford to ditch it and fit a 6 inch lift .
Im also happy with the way it rides and drives in the current set up been in lifted utes and they look great but not suitable for my daily driver.
Also ive dented both sills in now so no more pissy factory side steps.
Im knocking up some bling sliders so the extra sill clearance will be a plus any way each to there own
Thanks mickyd555 did you extend this hoop once you lifted yours or left it

yeah no worries the slidders are the only way to stop sill damage anyway my ARB steps and sills have been bent that many times now i dont even bother straighting them, but body lift isnt going to give you any more clearance under the truck but i supose it comes down to the tracks you drive

it also gives you room between the body and chassis rail to bolt on a set of sliders (this is why i did it)rvh96 wrote:yeah no worries the slidders are the only way to stop sill damage anyway my ARB steps and sills have been bent that many times now i dont even bother straighting them, but body lift isnt going to give you any more clearance under the truck but i supose it comes down to the tracks you drive
