I think they should be allowed to come and compete without waiting, as long as they know that the event is for the little guys and they dont go all stupid and sit there and dig holes to china. (not having a dig at anyone)
Also, when you have to tell ppl to wait till last, or turn them away from an event, it makes running an event so much more complicated.

Will you even be running the same tracks as them, what class will you be in ?
If the tracks are setup for 44's like Tiny said is in the rules, then they shouldn't pose a problem to the 49's that Pete and Phil are running especially in their trucks with rear steer & hyro suspension. If you get there first on the day you will get to do the track before anyone else anyway.

The debate on pros & cons of the 'big boys' is interesting.
Keep in mind the whole concept of Jamborees. They started as a get-together for 4WD clubs, so anybody could have a go. That included standard to heavily modified. In the beginning, 'modified' was pretty much a set of muddies , not the high-tech engineering marvels we see around today.
The other comps (as I understand it) evolved from (or around the same time as) the Jamborees; those events were more of a 'competitive' nature, and that's what further triggered the evolution into the high level of mods. The whole concept of the Jamboree is 'have a go and have fun', not win at all (or any ) cost.
Now I'll don the 'Flame Suit'.....
I'm quite happy seeing Glenn, Pete, Athol and others at events their trucks were built for. The Jamboree is about participation, not a demo for Tuff Trucks. If they are not permitted to participate (on vehicle-specific tracks made only for them), then why bother.
Of course, we'd all love to see Pete, Glenn, Athol etc participate if they spend $2000 on an MQ or Pajero and have a go in standard form.......

it says white clearely there will be different tracks for the bigger trucks, and for those who went to j5 will know that many of the tracks were great at the start...I ran early with a rediculous loading with 35s because I wanted to have fun, the tracks were difficult, but by the end of the weekend after a couple of hundred trucks flogged the crap out of them a mini moke could drive it

Had a bugger of a time firstly getting a suitable location for our track, only to hit a water pipe , then be refused a really good hill, then finally work with the small incline we received. We made it interesting with some obstacles and wombat holes, angles and so on. But the ground was quite loamy, and after a few bigger units (probably YOU Tiny )cut the tops off and filled a few holes, well, you know the rest......

I ripped the crap out of one section, one of my mates skipped one of the big wombats and dug he bull bar into a mound, the following recovery took half the mound out

the last tuff truck i went to, the order was determined by tyre size,
anyway, i agree with et4runner, this event was ment for daily drivers to part time comp cars, not $100,000 + comp trucks,
as i said, i would like to see them there as most people would, but with in reason,
and tiny, i won't be far behind you,

I think it's a great idea for everyone who's part of the 4wd community to be involved in the Jamboree, including the big boys that don't qualify. Isn't the day about inclusion after all? Let them participate without competing I say.

Willowglen is not for us either. Largest tyre is a 36or37..You have far more events available to you that us.
Keep it fun, we don't dig holes very often if at all & I was'nt even at Nissan Trials last year...

yeah I would like to see more short course stuff here, its not like most of the trucks set offor these comps are any good for whinch chalenges etc and there is not many of them in NSW anyway

i'll be there having fun at J7 with the club and no one will have any concerns with my little 39inch tyres and my gutless 1.6litter motor.... i don't think i'll be digging any holes...
