Marks 4wd Adaptors.Group buy

Post by thunder »

Im putting this up to see if there would be enough interest from people to buy transfer gears.
please post if you are genuinely keen to buy.
I emailed marks and got this reply.

Thankyou for your inquiry.
Yes we can certainly offer you a discount on a quantity of our
Gearmaster Gears.
For me to price this up for you, I will need to know what sort of
quantity you are looking at.
Please let me know when convenient, and I will do my best to get you the
best possible price.

Look forward to hearing from you Steve.

Regards,
Danielle French.
Manager.

I'd be interested depending on price. The GQ could do with some gearing.

there are prices on there and to see if they have what you want.

ill keep this up for a week so if you could put up weather you are 100% or not so after a week i can give her a number that are definate so we can get a price.
for me im getting gears regardless.
if cash is a problem we can ask to pay by end of april if you like.(or may)

ok something tiny has changed. :D
TINY will do it through his company to marks as he has dealt with them before and hes done group buys b4.

ok guys, letgs get an idea of numbers etc, anything people want to buy from marks in one hit, anyone needs an engine coversion kit to a speedo adaptor to diff gears, the more stuff we get in one hit the better the price should be, will get them to run through a compete quote when I have models \ numbers etc, will run it through the business and you can pay me direct, I will want a deposit minimum on ordereing and then full payment before they ship, the thing with group buys is getting one payment, one destination saves time, shipping, paperwork etc

feel free to post up here, pm me ot email me your requirements, by next monday morning.

pickup would be from hornsby, but I am sure we can arrange something if needed, if you are in brissy for eg I would be happy to post it on via aus post or pack and send at your cost

seeing I am going to run some bulk buys again pm if you want to run a bulk buy with something else

cheers

Tiny

One more possibility for GQ if price is right.

I thought there'd be more interest in this. Doesnt seem to be enough numbers to account for much of a discount.......unless this is listed on other forums also?

ive just pmd tiny to ask that question about other forums and leave this up for longer as it seems a few people are not sure at the moment weather they want stuff or not.it is a lot of money and maybe people need more time to commit to this

i got gears in i think 2002 through a group buy with the partrol list and
back then they were $990 to my door(guessing)so its not a massive saving but every little bit helps

I think it would have been easier to more people to commit if it had of been like.

10% discount on 5 units
15% on 10 units
20% on 15 units

That way people could have said well RRP is XYZ, but i will then be able to get it for ABC... I know I wont commit to anything without first knowing the price.

I have committed to buying a set DEPENDING on price, nothing more. Numbers were needed for people seriously considering buying gears to obtain a QUOTE. No obligation to buy if you dont like the price. Correct me if I'm wrong Tiny.
