just wondering if any one has this problem some times when i turn off my truck thers no dash lights and no power when i get back in to start it up new battery, butt no power no horn no alarm nothing but let sit for a while and it starts up its also had a reco starter gives me the shits

I presume there's no apparent power to ANYTHING? First place I'd be checking is the main fusable link. Most newish vehicles have one, so I'm pretty sure Feroza will. Once you find it, pull it apart and check it's not melted/corroded, etc. Failing that, then check the main earth connection from the battery and battery terminal connections.

There is a fusible wire link in the cable from the alternator to the battery. It's covered in a braided fabric type meterial and is just near the positive battery terminal.
Check all the battery terminals, connections, earths to the chassis etc. To be losing power completely it's got to be something major.
