mate i will never deal with abs again they are rude sometimes and always charge you more if you are young. and if your car is a little suspect they wont let you leave with your car my mate on here mr. smith almost had a wheel fall of after they had serviced a hub and didnt tighten the bolts enouf. but thats just my point of view i had one made up and put it on myself from abs.
Oh really.. .what a bunch of pricks. Not dealing with them in that case. Ill be fitting them myself, wont go caliper direct, will leave the steel hose there.. Slacks creek will be a goa for that money. Dogbreath ill let ya no m8, just the other day, fitted the suspension outa the roll into the new lux, and the lines are longer on the others... got to 1/2 droop and nearly lost a line. Went up the back but the old ones are shagged so ill just go new ones. Thanks for the help boys, take care!

Agreed. But while I've been shopping around for some, I've found ads that say ADR approved and others that say DOT approved. Is this just wording or is there a variation? Who does some in Vic too? I can't find anyone here as cheap as the prices above. They're all about $70 each or more.
can i use a mate to position while i screw?
Agreed with the rubber extended ones you lose your feel and eventually preasure as the lines expand.
I put braided ones on the front of my lux and it improved the breaking 100%.
definatly don't go to ABS (especially @ brendale)
as sjjenkin mentioned ABS serviced a wheel hub and failed to tighten the wheel bearing nut enough which caused my wheel to nearly come off, luckily the brake caliper held it on long enough for me to slow down from 100k/ph
Caboolture exhausts does rubber and braided in all sorts off colours if thats your fancy. They are all approved lines and tested to 3000psi and stamped with there approvel number.
2 weeks ago i had them do up 6 lines in total with all sorts of diffrent fittings for a mates buggy as we have gone full braided lines everywhere on it as so not to fark around with steel line anywhere. In total there was 13 metres of lines and came to a total of $480.00. They were done in about 3 hours. Great service and a top bunch of blokes and if the right person is in they can do them on the spot for you. I most certainly would send anybody who askes to them
You will get them on 07 54956511
Cheers Jamie
