bodylift

is a bodylift worth doing. ive heard of stuff like the lift blocks breaking mounts and or the floor pan itself.
ive got a 3in spring lift but want an extra 2in body lift for 35in tyres, but also dont want to stuff my car as it is a dayly driver and weekend toy and also tourer. any help would be great

yeh do it as they do not alter the vehicles centre of gravity as much as 2'' more suspension lif twould do, coz the motor is staying in the same position(a heavy contender). I have never heard of them breaking, all of my mates with 4wd's have them, and they have no probs. I have a 2'' installed too, no probs. good luck.

Just remember that you have to change your transfer case shift or you will not be able to get into low range, I just did one it worked great for what it meant to do.

couple of tips... make sure you unclip the clutch line; if the two rear bolts wont undo, hit the captured nuts quickly with the oxy to melt the locktite while you put pressure on them; i flipped the fan shroud upside down and drilled new mounting holes(td42), that was for a 3" though but you could try it.
We use 75mm blocks but you can put 3mm plate on top if your worried.
