3f rebuild step by step

i need to put together a step by step guide to help me get my 3f done..
pirotize the work i need done...
so far the motor is stripped right down.
head is too....

work needed:
1: cleaned and machined
2: parts...usaual rebuild stuff

what would be your thoughts?

buy a workshop manual and that'll give you what you need to know plus lots more!!

been looking for a pdf, but not having much luck, ive found in the past the man. you can get at auto shops dont give enough info for rebuilding, i have a hard copy of " hoe to rebuild ford v8 engines 351 - 460" VERY good book heaps of great tips, but has two heads...lol

ebay sell the pdf, but you are buying a copy off thew net elsewhere...there was a 80 series workshop manual for the 3f lasat week...check there...id just buy another motor for $20 instead of working on one...

Don't mean to be rude but unless you can get parts at agood trade price and your machining done the same your kidding yourself even thinking about doing it when there are so many s/h units out there.

i did use it as a boat anchor, i didnt say where mine went too
i forgot to put a chain on it. :twisted:

What's wrong with a 3F??? Reliable as all hell, mine still goes fine in my 60 series. A bit thirsty, but still good!

Totaly agree a good solid reliable engine almost as good as a 2F :D
