sometimes people dont know what things are worth.

i bought a complete 454 big block chev engine ( in bits but complete) with ported heads with alloy edlebrock manifold and rocker covers for the total cost of 150$

anything under what they are worth is a bargain ( unless they are stolen, if you buy stolen parts you deserve to have your car stolen aswell)

If you look in the right places $500 to $600 is about the going price usless there stolen and you could get them for heaps less.

If not into that shit so I will pay the extra and get legite ones but by the time you went down there picked them up and came back $400 for the diffs is all I would pay.

The last set I got I paid 300 for the pair LSD rear 4.1s but had drum brake rear.

If your paying any more than that for GQ diffs your getting bent over.

If someone wants to pay more than that go for it, But your stupid.

Auction prices for written off cars aree obvious, its obvious what the worst patrol you have seen sell for.
when you part them out, there is no money in them if you pilfer parts and then onsell diffs for 500. You dont need to be an economic genious to work it out..

I bought the body in the original auction. Paid him a deposit into the account thats listed with ebay and he hasnt received it so he blames me. He then winged to ebay about me not paying so I sent them a copy of the deposit slip. They will be re-opening my account next week apparently.

He didnt want to wait any longer to sort it out so relisted it. Fair enough but he wouldnt reply to my emails or messages so now I'm $150 out of pocket. My bank says he has recived it he wont asnswer me.

Thats actually Dads account, We did that to get the 45's cruiser off ebay when some dick made a offer to good to refuse.

If there genuienly been a stuff up with the bank and he hasnt received the money I can see where he's coming from, But FFS at least return my emails so we can sort it out.

I just hope I can get my money back.

I did end up seeing the ratio's for those diffs but it was after i posted.

Dont get me wrong I'm not saying he's got the money, The bank may have stuffed up but when he won't return my messages its hard to sort where my money is.

Its all abit suss when the day after I did the D/D he says I havent paid and winges to e-bay.

Hopefully the bank can sort it out cause he's being no help.

If this is the same bloke, he approached me in a Woollies carpark one morning in Goulburn. He spotted me in my GQ.
Said he had one that he was wrecking and had some rear lights, as one of mine was broken. Got his number and tried to ring a few days later and it was the wrong number.
Went for drive down there as its only 20mins away and he had told me in a round about sort if way where he lived, semi rural, and couldn't find him. Asked at the general store and at the pub, and no-one knew anything of him. Marulan is just not that big that no one would know of him.
Was just all round kinda strange and random...
