were any of the plugs a different colour to the others? does it crank funny? your probably looking at an air leak in the intake, however, if you havnt checked your valve clearances in the last 40000kms, do so now...straight away....b4 the head has to come off....

havent had the car for 40,000kms yet so no, i havent checked the valve clearance yet... will do tho, plugs werent that bad, all were the same colour, cranks over fine... is there any specific spot in the intake tht is prone to air leaks or is that something i'l just have to have a close look at??? :?

the bellows that are infront of the throttle body split underneath....results in lean mix when hot....good news all plugs looked thesame

Exhaust valves will be tight no doubt. Set then above the spec of .25 to .35 set them at .40mm as LPG burns hotter the valve grows more and effectivly becomes tight, the valve dosent spend sufficient time on the seat where the heat from the valve is dissapated to the valve seat. Valve and seat failure will occur if the clearance isnt maintained.

my mate had the same problem on his 80 petrol/lpg , the cause was that the intake pipe from the air cleaner to the throttle body was split.
he had his 80 back to the gas dude about 4 times and the clowns did not pick it up
