Yummy , mine has more damage in the rear than yours did and I'm still waiting, I am definately getting it done and from looking at yours an extra cab is the way to go, the cab looks really good and I'm a fan of the simple tray and chunky barwork and also the fact it isn't verticle at the rear of the cab. Did you do it yourself or was it a paid job? What was used for the rear of the cab? How long did it take? What does it ride like now and did you have to change the rear suspension or anything else that may have been affected? Oh one more - Is it quicker on the road now with less weight ? yeah i dont like the straight up and down back wall looks cheap so i wanted to keep the factory look of the 80 ... was done by good mate of mine .. tray took a bit of stuffing around to get it to look right with the cab... just made up panel below window ..goes much better with less weight a little bit of suspension tuning to do as has made it a little rough from the back but havent tryed it with fuel in rear tank ,spare wheel and water tank full yet,i think it will be better then..

Hey Pete don't why you would bother swapping left to right as the windows are the same. I've got mine out now and thought about swapping left to right, even tried it, it looked the same angle so i put the windows on top of each other and they are the same?

I could have sworn mine were slightly different. I think from memory the top and sides lined up the same, but the bottom was different angles and swapping them over worked out better. When I chopped mine, I used the front 1/3rd of the rear doors and moved the C Pillar forward to form the rear of the cab. So the angle on the back of my cab is a little different to most I have seen.

hey out of curiosity those who performed there dual cab conversion did you provide a technical drawing of the proposed modification?
In the NT they ask for you to provide a technical drawing with measurements of the proposed modification. As i have about as much drawing skills as a person who cant see, can anyone help me out. they say it doesn't have to be accurate but provide enough information as possible to support your application.
Has anyone kept there drawings or know of someone that could help me out with suggestions of how to make my own set.
