Have there been issues with the marks input shaft adaptor in the marks kit?
I want the engine to sit as far back as possible. Do dellows supply a complete bell housing?
Do CRS do a bell housing?

dellow will tell you they dont do one, but I have seen three dellows small block chev bell housings that have been modified to suit the gen3. These were all in comp cars during this years OBC, However this requires the gear box and transfer to be moved forward and both drive shafts to be modified. CRS will tell you the same as dellow, but with mods it will fit the same as dellows.

As for Marks I have heard a few stories however this has not stoped me from buying one for my GQ. Marks kit is a lot easier to fit and there is no drive line mods to do, plus you can use any gen 3 clutch. Engine mounts are easy to make and the majority of the comp cars I have seen were running GQ trailing arm bushes, set up as mounts. I believe that Dale from 2Dxtreme has made some for a customer and wizard performance,
and cas jones in wa, so take your pick.

The new 6L exhaust manifolds will apparently fit without mods. 5.7L can be modified using a 2 bolt flange to replace the original cast flange and extractors are available custom made, but probably wont give you that much more bang for your buck.

Sitting the engine back close to the fire wall is not going to give you any advantage as the gen3 is a lot lighter than the nissan 6 and its weight mass is going to be further back anyway.

Hope this helps.

What issues have there been with the marks input shafts.
I have seen them need to be shortened slightly, but only with harrop cranks, is it the same thing in a gen 3??
