Hey, Im a qualified Auto Electrician in Gippsland in Victoria... I do backyarders to pay for my toys and stuff so if anyone needs anything done give me a yell... or if anyone needs any advice on here give me a yell...

I am upgrading my headlights in my GQ and i just bought a set of Tungsram 100/80W globes and a relay that is a New-Era NLR-132 12v.30ax2 the auto elec that i bought it from drew me a diagram but its makes no sense it only has one wire to the lights and the globe has three prongs on it???

The diagram is probably correct but not fully detailed.

Assuming your relay is one of those that has onboard fuses, it's pretty straight forward and we can run you through it. Unless you want to cut wires you'll want to get a pair of H4 plugs from supercheap, autobarn or wherever, although you can just use six female spade terminals (8.something mm I think) if you are really against spending an extra ten bucks.

I am not sure if you want DIY instructions or you want RRover85 to do it for you :) so I'll leave it there for now!

i like to try things myself to be honest if at first you dont succeed try again and then ask someone who knows what there doing.

The relay has two fuses onboard (30amp)

I am attempting it today so be on hand with information if i need it lol

The boy does good work. I worked with him for a few years.......
