Mate wants to convert his efi over to mechanical only.

I doubt you would find a 1KZ -T pump in Australia.

Not a problem, I have already seen them at the wreckers.

You have? What vehicle did they come out of? I am unaware of any Aussie vehicle with a 1KZ-T. Even the Surfs have a 1KZ-TE.

Landcruiser, but I am unsure about the model, from Japan. I seen a surf to. All were manuals.

NiftyNev....i thought there was a thread on surf site about it. someone mentioned you could even get away with useing the LN series pumps (with a bit of tuning).

I don't remember anything about this on the Aussie Surf Site. There may have been something though. Aren't the KZN gear drive whereas the LN series are belt driven. I did see something on a US site where someone was trying to do this. Don't know the final result though.

I'd like to know where these 1KZ-T pumps are though because I've never seen or heard of any in Australia up till now.

Interesting sites and full of info, thanks.

Yesterday me and the mate tracked down a 1KZ-T, in the wreckers. I believe these are only imported and dunno if they were ever sold here.

Thing is, if he want the fuel pump have to buy the whole dam engine!. I think this is going to knock the idea on it head.

I wondered if a 5L pump would od the job...need to check.
