Surf 2.4 Power steering

Hey guys, just wonderng if the powersteering gear off a 2.4L Surf will fit the 3L 2.8 Hilux.

ok here goes.... the motor itself doesent make a difference, so yes...... But, if the pump is off a 2lte motor it mounts low on the drivers side which means it won't fit in a hilux with a solid axel with a torsion bar, the torsion bar gets in the way.

so I hope that makes sense.
84 Hilux 2.4l turbo, 2" Body lift ......

The pump bracketry will not transfer between the blocks as the mounts are different.

don't know anything can be moded to fit just how much $ and time will it take up maybe faster to get the one to suit 3L power steer pump is on lh lower side of engine if anyone was wondering
plenty of parts on the bench

I agree totally.
If you do have a 2L PS pumps and mounts I will hunt you down a 3L pump and mounts to do a swap.
