Post by Moose45 »

Does anyone know of e good driveline/driveshaft company in melb,

I have an 80 series cruiser, after fitting lift kit I have driveline issues.
I have fitted a double cardon joint to front shaft but hasnt fixed problem completly.

What lift size did you put in?

I have just purchased 6inch Dobinson spings and will be fitting them this weekend... so ill more than likely have a few driveline issues to over come myself.

I`ve put in the tough dog soft 6 inch lift, was told with accecories it will
drop to a good 5 inch. but I couldnt drive it with front shaft in untill i got
double cardon.
Still not happy thats why i want to get second opinion.
Drove fine before lift went in.
Getting part time kit today, but that still dont fully solve my problem.

I have had good experiences with Total Traction Drivelines in Moorabbin. Talk to Matt on 03-95551501.

The recently rebuilt the rear axle on my GQ patrol after it was damaged due to the previous owner not torquing the pinion nut correctly after replacing a seal. They have all the right tools and a full manufacturing workship for anything unusual. They used to have the contract building what became the TJM pro lockers.
