i beleive there was a convo on here last week about someone who hit a gaurd rail after one snapped.
noone would mention what brand tho.

i beleive it was a comp vehicle tho, and a stock rm prob woulda died the same way in the same conditions.

chunder, ill have to have a better look at micks when he takes the towel off his front links :P i must say tho i rate superiors stuff better than any of the other big brands and it is generally cheaper as well

2DXTREME ARMS ARE THE BEST ARMS GOING AROUND IN MY MIND BECAUSE HE MAKES HE'S ARMS FOR 3/4/5/6/7 INC NOT LIKE SNAKE RACING WHO MAKE 1 FOR 3/4/5 AND 1 FOR 5/6/7 SO WITH SAKE ARMS THERE GOOD FOR 4 OR 6 IF YOU HAVE 3/5 OR 5/7 LIFT HAVE A LOOK AT THE PINN IT WILL BE NOT SPOT ON IT WILL BE UP OR DOWN A BIT THEN HAVE A LOOK AT THE COILS THERE BE MORE LOAD ON ONE SIDE OF THE COIL. HOPE THAT HELP YOU

i just looked at mine suitting on my shed floor they are different not by a lot but where it bolts on to the chassis the steel that hold the thread is heaps bulkier.

gday Mick, hows your truck coming along. Was thinking of getting the 2dextreme arms , but will look into the oondy ones,
Will try and google some info on them.
I'll be running 4" lift and pushing the diff forward an inch.

Was thinking of running 3rds rear arms, any comments?

from what i've seen the laser cut arms are stronger than the cast arms as the cast arms are more prone to brake of near the threed going to the chassis but i'm shore thats in extreme cases.

down side to laser cut arms are they are much more bulky but i dont think that ,that realy is a issue in a big patrol.

At the time of this post superior eng were selling my arms. Superior eng had not put their new arms on the market at that stage up until recently.

I update on our arms are as follows,
in "Superior High Flex Arms std lift to suit drop boxes one side only needed $650 with genuine bushes total
3 inch lift both 2 arms with genuine bushes $1300 total
4-5 inch 2 arms needed with genuine bushes $1300 total
6-7 inch 2 arms needed with genuine bushes $1300 total
These arms come with a full money back guarantee if they do not flex more than anyone elses on the market and i'm not talking a little more flex i mean most gains over other arms are 10inch on articulation and the bushes arern't tearing like other brands. The lower 3 inch lift wont get that much gain as you will not get a big enough shock in their but std with drop boxes and 4-5 and 6-7 expect big gains.
To put that pic in proportion they are 38 boggers if you notice one side of the guard to the other with 20mm coil wire

Standard type radius arms that everyone else sells is as follows
3 inch $1080 with genuine bushes
4-5 inch $1080 with genuine bushes
6-7 inch $1080 with genuine bushes
All our arms are made from BHP steel and have never had a failure .

We have many of our arms in winch challenge trucks, rock crawling trucks , road driven and everyday 4wd's and have no problems.
You can talk direct to us at superior engineering or any of our resellers can help customers out as well.
