Post by big red »

Thinking of this date for the 2nd running of CARNAGE CANYON.

Can't seem to find anything that clashes with the date

same format and track as last year.

check out the thread and pics and vids from the last one...

Shane..Logan club is also thinking of around that date for the Logan Challenge(not sure exactly yet)...might be an idea for you an Marshy to nut out a date so the events dont clash...it would be a shame to have to decide between one or the other

Yeh, just read the rest of the thread and PM'd him but with the tyre size limit it wouldn't be much of a conflict anyway.

TYRE SIZES

SHANE HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT ANOTHER CLASS OF UP TO 33" TYRES SO SOME OF THE SMALLER RIGS CAN COMPETE....

I think the issue is its a timed event, and as such, you must have a roll cage. If you have a cage - Just do it, even you only have 33's.

3 classes is enough as big tyres do not help much on this course. :D

drivers get in free but everyone else pays.

there is no extra charge to watch the comp, just normal fees.

no because if they get out to stack or guide there is no one to check if they put it back on again and its hard for the next official to see as they go past.

wrist restraint for a DRIVER is ok though.

we just have to trust him to have it on before he takes off as it would be harder to do when he's racing and its also not likely for him to leave the car .

I wonder if any one is gunna beat last years times ...

There was no entries in A class last year so that record is still up for grabs

Shane Gerrish holds the C class record with a best time of 10 min 24 secs and the finals time of 10 min 39 secs .

Jeff White hold the Outright and B class record with a time of 8 min 34 secs.

there has been some big mods happening in the comp scenes so there could be some new records this year
