Radius arm spacers....where from VIC

Well I got the JT2 on today and won't be doing any more lifting.....

Going to add the radius arms spacers for clearing the guards and will extend the bump stops to keep the tyres out of the body....

Where can you get the spacer kit around the Nunawading area and how much will it set me back roughly??

marks adaptors 1-3 ventura place dandenong south 03 9702 7366, dont know how close they are to you but they will post the spacers n they look good too

are these just like 10 or 15mm spacers to fit on the front radius arms and slide the diff forward 10 or 15mm??
hands and mums dont count!!!

Marks 4wd...

they supply many of the other 4wd outlets they just dont tell you where they get them from its the same as the Hawse fairleads too.

Does anybody think that by spacing the radius arms further forward, it will place a lot more load out on the ends of the radius arm bolts (threaded ends). This could potentially create a weak point under hard, heavy use.
I have held off spacing my arms forward until l could find more information on this.

Came up with the idea around 6 years ago and started selling through BBM when they started up. I have sold and fitted more kits than I can remember and havnt had or heard of any probs.

got the Marks kit and fitted it in the weekend......

Strange thing is I now have a clunk sound but not all the time and from both side....

Went over all the bolts a couple days after fitting and the noise is that noticable that my wife noticed it and told me about it.

now I didn't replace the rubbers in the radius arms when I put the spacers in.

Will new radius arm rubbers fix the issue???

Don't know but what are they worth? scared to ring nissan cause everytime I call them they give prices that make you weak at the knee's.....for instance they wanted $98 for a auto filter alone....I got the thing serviced for $140 including oil and labour.....

Could just be your springs re-seating as they no longer sit squarely on the diff. Mine sometimes clunk when I turn full lock at slow speeds but it's nothing to worry about.

The kit was $65 from Marks......

And yes the noise is the springs.....they do sit a little funny now and click when they seat as you drive along but seeing as though it is a non-issue sound I will learn to tune it out.

Anyone got a picture of one of these badboys? I've been a bit curious, but i'm buggered if i'm paying $65 for a couple of washers or bush.

it will consist of two spacers, of whatever length, and I would suggest two spacers of the same length to go over the threaded ends of the radius arms, to allow the same pressure on the bush....
hands and mums dont count!!!

if you dont have the spacer on the thread it eats out bushes faster than a 17 year old at an all girls dorm.

drop boxes also space the arm forward.
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

i have installed marks 4wd adaptors 10mm arm spacers to my GQ to house larger tyres and havent had a problem with them. theyre easy to fit and effective. they are aroung $60 posted in australia and i recommend them

0ne piece of tube 25mm od by 12mm long (goes on threaded end)
2 x 30mm washers 6mm thick with 25mm hole on front end BEHIND orig large washer, (or one 12mm thick washer etc)
Use ARB 5mm spring spacers under coils to stop any noise.
