2006 mk triton std height

Post by greybeard »

got a saggy front end on my new triton dual cab.
it's an early 2006 mk turbo diesel.
has anyone got a std ( ish ) similar model that they could measure from the centre of the front axle to the wheel arch for me?
and the same for the back end.
that way when i crank the torsion bars i can see if i'm in the ballpark.
thanks

This may help a bit. My 98 MK has 500mm from the top of the manual hub to the bottom of the arch. I also have a ARB steel bar on it so it's down a bit.

thanks
just checked similar on mine. ~420mm on the front and ~520mm on the rear. that's eith a ARB bar and winch on the front and empty on the back.
and about 5mm clearance on the bottom bump stop.
might be time to adjust the front end. if i can squeeze underneath it to adjust the torsion bars.
