soundproofing

Post by loopy »

I have a 95 deisel twin cab triton and want to sound proof the cab. The current rubber matting does not block any noise.

Any ideas out their.

Buy some soundproofing and some glue and a knife.......

It'll be a pretty big job to do it properly, mainly pulling all the dash out.

Well if you were going to go to all the trouble it'd be daft not to do a proper job of it. (In My Humble Opinion)

Underfelt is good, but it is bulky to get quailty soundproofing. My brother (ricer boy) loves his car stereos and loud sound, the soundproof mat (I think its called Dynamat) you get from places like "The Car Stereo Company" works brilliantly! and is thin by comparison and you can mould it into place. It is quite pricey by memory but worth every cent if you want reduced noise. Plus you can do the roof under the headlining, make it real nice and quite :D
I LIKE IT, I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!!!!!
