Just wondering if a 1990 model hilux cab and gaurds will fit onto a 1979 hilux chassis without to many mods.
Just a wild thought that's not from inside the bubble!:
If they have different chassis widths, I see this as a great opportunity for a 2" body lift using 50 X 100 box tube. Just use the box tube to run front to back on each side under the cab and you can use the same body and chassis mount holes through the 50 X 100 with crush tubes.
50 X 75 might even get you what you want.
I'm sure something easy could be done for the 2 front and 2 rear if on a wagon, mounts with 50 X 50 section running across left to right.
