Incab winch controller, which terminals?

Post by M1S3RY »

When wiring an incab switch, which terminals on the control pack do you use for the in and out power?

I have wired the switch only using 3 wires (I know) one for power, one for in and one for out.

I have searched, but was unable to find exactly what i wanted to know, i think i know which ones to use but not 100%. Thanks.

So basically i can connect my "in" wire to any terminal with a green wire and my "out" wire to any terminal with a black wire.

Thanks.

Thats right. However it still wont work as you have the 5 pin controller, so you need to switch the earth side of the solenoids too. You should use a DPDT switch. Mine only cost $15 for a decent rocker type.
Alternatively use a seperate on/off switch for the earths.
