Ok guys, everything is organised. We're off at 5am Friday morning to get down there with some time to spare. Don't be surprised if my hilux is broken by the time you guys arrive on Fri night/sat morning!

Looking forward to catching up with some of the regulars and welcoming some newbys. Should be a great weekend! See you all there  :D

TOP WEEKEND. FUN HAD BY ALL.

A big shout out to Mick from Superior Eng. for sponsoring the event.
Also to Bee Bee and Greg for organizing a great comp. I don't think anyone had a bad thing to say about it.

Can't wait for a full series next year.
For all the full chasis trucks out there that want to step up to the next level, this is the comp to try. There waz only 8 this time for the trial which we completed 5 tracks Saturday and 2 on Sunday, so plenty of seat time. It would be great to get more support for next year.

Thanx again.

Ps. Anybody got a photo of my FLOP???

Thanks to everyone for coming and supporting us!!. This is a bit of a new format for us so we hope to refine it even more next year. Huge thankyou to ROVER PARK for letting us run the event there and also thankoyu to Mick from SUPERIOR ENGINEERING fro paying for the Trophies at the last minute (it means we could have free entry for all competitors, and some good trophies). Also if we do run again next year, we may have a new comp area specifically for us!!!! and Rover Park will give FREE park entry to all competitors. How good is that!! No park entry fee and no Comp entry Fee!!!! all you have to do is turn up and Drive Hard and enjoy yourself.

OK to the results. well what can i say, well done to all. It really showed that the initial Idea of 'SMART Controlled Driving' was the key, and the scores display this!! I think everyone had at least 1 really good Track and the top few just drove smart and consistant all weekend. The tracks tested the teams Brains and the Vehicles to the limit, with DNFs very common!! But the format and the time limits gave the teams lot to do. With 7 courses and 10-12min time limits they got to do plenty of driving!!!! and many were VERY tired on saturday night!!!! The rain (140mm) certainly made saturdays tracks interesting but with most of then on pure rock the teams seamed to love it. There were some awesome saves, aaron and scotty and steve and craig looked like they were gone!! but both somehow pulled out the impossible and drove them out! Well done to all the competitors, and i hope you all had the chance to learn some good tricks.

it was a shame to see both you and aaron out so early, your track scores were very good and showed you definately had the goods for a podioum finish!! (a 2nd and a 4th on the 2 tracks completed)

Thanks for all the competitors for making the effort, without you their would not have been an Event.
Also a big thank you to Greg and Dave for their effort into setting up the course and running it smoothly.
Hopefully a series will be run next year as we need an event to fill the gap that has opened for the full bodied trucks.
I had great fun and look forward to it again
Everyone drove excellent and the competition was good.
