Engineers in Sydney

Post by CWBYUP »

So I need to find an engineer to use for the chop down of the GQ wagon into a ute.

I'm trying to find someone local or at least easy to get to.

I'm at Mcgraths Hill and have narrowed the list down to a few that are looking good but wanted to know if anyone has experiance with any of them.

Looking at

Rodger Perkins ANNANGROVE

Peter Smith CAMDEN

Lesley Gunaratnam TOONGABBIE

Trevor Booth KURRAJONG

Has anyone used any of these guys ?

Thanks for the info, Cheers Nick

What other mods are you engineering, if its also a lift and tyres steer well cleer of Peter Smith @ Camden.

He does not like lifts or bigger tyres @ all, cant comment on any of the others though....

Sorry I should have made a list of what i need engineered.

Cab chop XC

2" lift

33"s or 35"s depending on what they will do

Move fuel tank

Shorten Chassis

4 point harnesses for on road is possible

trimed front guards to suit 35's

and thats about it.

Its not crazy by any means.

Peter Gillard in Leichardt was good to work with

A little picky on a few points but overall very good to work with and if he could see you doing the right thing he would help you out with advise

If he was closer thats where i would be going but its a bit hard to organise.

Might have to end up biteing the bullet and going down there though.
