Aluminium MIG/ TIG welder in brisbane??

Post by Gutless »

Any of you blokes/ ladies setup for alloy welding? I have a MIG and can weld alloy, but don't fancy getting a tank of Argon just for 3" of weld.

I'm happy to pay in cash or brew. Prefer south or west of brisbane, but can travel to north if need be.

Cheers

Cant remember the company name but Trevor on 4/35 Randall St Slacks Creek does aluminium welding. Next to Ross Fabrication. Great blokes
George or Clive Ross may even do it too, their number is 32902433

Thanks. Turns out I need someone with a Pulse MIG, as there is a delicate brass bush inside one of the pieces that needs welding and iut cannot be removed. So a normal alloy weld will kill the bush :bad-words:
