MY ASS!!!
Good prices yes, but first time i did a double line pull on a 10,000 bent the absolute shit out of the front of the bar considering it was only about 4mm mild steel, might be okay for pansies who drive their truck on tracks but use your truck as a decent 4wd and you will be disapointed.
Wasn't impressed one bit, i would not recommend them.!!
Superior Alignments is better gear, frigen heavy but strong.
Dont know about the other guys.

If there was a problem I'm sure Dale would fix it straight away, Dale at 2dextreme has been building bar work n comp trucks for years, alot are top runners in winch and outback challenges. Yours would be the first complaint I've heared of.

Youd probably find a double line 10k pull would bend most barwork... at full noise assume some loss in force your pulling 18 - 19,000 lbs, plus whatever is holding you to the ground in the first place.
Cheers,
Dan.

Yes you fellas are probably right i would have just assumed that if TJM and ARB sell standard winch bars that can mount 9,000-12,000 lbs winchs and also sell pully blocks to go with them 18,00-24,000lbs (max 12 tonne approx) that other manufacted bars could handle the same. Obviously i was wrong
Next time i'll go for a ARB bar or similar. Any way it was only my experience i had and this isn't a post about who was the best or worst in bar work i posted my experience i didnt state that 2dextreme did shit work i just stated i would not recommend them and i was pissed off.
The bar was good quality in workmanship and cheap it just did not do as i expected.
I am sure if you fella's asked in other posts how the goods you purchased are you would like the truth.
Maybe i was unlucky with the purchase as it seems all others are happy???
But anyway i'll go with ARB next time.

RE BENT BAR.

Post by nissaneatstoyota »

Hey Demon, about your comments on your bar work no i am not about
to bag you for it.

What i would loke to say is if people in business do a job they should be told so if a problem happens it is VERY important that they know it.

From the view of a sales manager i like to know when we have done
well and when we havent & no i dont have any 2d products i am
researching bits for my 91 gq troll thats how i found this thread.

Please talk to them im sure they will help.
Cheers.
