Hey everyone
I am slowly building up a FJ45 Single Cab Cruiser. What suspension setup should i use, its going to be used for serious four wheel driving only.
Thanks
Jason

depending how extreme and how much travel you want you can just reset your springs, run longer shackles and get new shocks. This is pretty cheap and easy. Use caster correction wedges in the front if you use longer shackles. For the back you can take most of the leaves out and add coils as well as longer shackles. This is really cheap and really easy. You should be able to get hold of some secondhand coils for free. Old Range Rover or Peugo ones work well. You might need to cut the coils to length if they are too long. I had the leaf / coil setup in my old 45 series ute and it flexed ok and had a super smooth ride.
For more money and work you could do a springover. Note that you can run the reset springs, longer shackles and coil / leaf setup easily and cheaply. The springover is a lot more involved and complicated. You would also need approval from the TAC for the springover if you wanted it registered.
What engine are you running?
