1hdt turbo on a 1hz engine

Post by kingchevy »

Hey guys
I have a 1hdt turbo exhaust manifold and all the extras of a motor we were wrecking. Will the turbo manifold ect fit straight onto a 1hz engine with out any modifications?

Yes, it all fits.

This is a 1hdt turbo/manifold onto a 1hz... little advice, i found that the manifold and turbo exhaust housing have to be bolted onto the engine in one piece, I dont remember why though.

more to the point, is the 1HZ injector pump sufficient just by cranking up fuel supply and then a dyno?
Or completely recalibrate?

sorry for the slight highjack, this is something im looking at doing later too.

Nads is right, you need the dt pump as the timing is all different...
