Hi all!
I am new to this forrum and request your help.
I have just rebuild the engine in my Stage 1 V8. I am trying to tune it but I can't get the timing right. It is supposed to be TDC @ 750 rpm but the mark is way out.
I still need to check if the TDC mark on the pulley is correct.
My other thought was that the after market cam I fitted may affect the timing, it is a Dynotec PC216.
What do you guys think?
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks
Fred

Stage 1 timing

when changing a cam you have to 'dial it in'. meaning there are different advance/retard settings just like on your distributor.
u have to use a dial gauge to see maximum lift of intake valve on no.1 cylinder. and a whole lot of other crap that is hard to explain.
when you bought your cam it should of come with a spec. sheet.
