patrol running gear into a rangie
have there been any posts on putting patrol g/box,t/case and diffs into a rangie. did a search but can't find any?
A couple of links from the Rover section:

There are a couple of people who do it, from what I have read in the Rover forum I believe LRA have a kit, and I also believe Kermit (could be spelt Kurmit) does Nissan diff replacements.
May be worth posting this question in the Rover section, but be sure to wear your flame suit as it has been asked a few times.

Personally would never do it and think it's sacralidge, but I'm a bit of a purist (technically maxi-drives are not std but there made for Land Rovers only ). It can be done sucessfully as we all know and if done for a reasnoble cost then it's well worth it.
I was looking into it at one stage but IMO it's not much cheaper at the time for me to fit another maxi-drive so I did that and 3 years later I'm not whinging.

font is easy as its nearly a straight swap rear however is not there are a few ppl who will do all the fab work cheap for the diffs but getting it engernieerd is a problem
as for transmission it basicly is a must as there not offset an if your going to pay for all that work get a transmission adaptor to fit a bigger v8 eg 350 chev
