Aftermarket temp gauge GQ 4.2 EFI

Post by ORSM4B »

Hi guys l am fitting an aftermarket guage and l am stuck fitting the sender as the factory sender has a different thread as it's metric and the one that came with the gauge is imperial....

Has anybody had this problem and how you fixed it?????

l have tried HIS Hose and Pirtex for adapters but no good...

we bought a brass adaptor to suit the thermo housing, then we drilled and tapped the brass adaptor, and all worked sweet, no leaks, as long as thereis enough meat on the brass adaptor, depends on the size of your sender,
