H motor to 2H conversion

Post by Bearded1 »

Hi Fella's (and any sheila's out there),
I'm looking at putting a 2H in my son's 45, which currently has a stuffed H motor. Does anyone know exactly what else I need to change (apart from the gearbox and rear mount which is fairly obvious). For example is the starter the same? Do I need to change wiring etc. and what about the front engine mounts? -things like that.
Thanks

I would get a donor 60 series thats rotted out or rolled over, and go down that road, run the gearbox, t-case, all electrics and steering from the new truck, maybe even the A/C if you get motivated.

You will need fuel pump, accelerator cable, glow plug relay, fuel control relay, etc etc etc.... grab the exhaust too, and the air box/intake, radiator if you can as its all different.

Get one with a P/S pump on it too.
hands and mums dont count!!!
