I got some direct on a once off deal via someone in the uk and am pretty happy with them too! Didnt end up using the piping that comes with them and some of the screws were too long but otherwise they are very good and heaps better than the fibreglass ones. Incidentally I found them on another site (Famous Four) I think it was for less than Paddock had them for...

Anyway I recommend them... :)

hi v8 rangie, i was interested last time but wasn't sure if they were big enough to cover my already cut guards. I have LRA 2 door flares on mine, the arches come right up to the body line.

stikman, could you please post dimensions of yours? They look quite big so they could do the job.

I have just posted update pics of my build, you can see the size of flare and cut out easily.

Cheers

Just to let you know the paddock ones claim to fit Rangie and Disco as they are flexible. Kind of a one size fits all approach. The only things to specify are:-

1 Do you want 2 door or 4 door.

2 Do you want 75mm or 50mm cover.

Hi Steve,
Let me know what dimensions you are after and i will take some measurements.

Also, from what i know the Flexi Flares are one size only (not the 50or75).The 50mm or 75mm ones are fibreglass.

Just to clarify the "flexy flares" with or without the wire inserts are a rubber flare and bend to whatever radius of the wheel arch you like.

The "Flexible Fibreglass look Flares" imported from the UK through innov 4x4 or Paddock are a high density resilient plastic in a pre-moulded shape similar to the LRA fibreglass flares and are a fixed size.

They come in either 50 or 75mm widths off the body.

Because they have some give they will go on either rangie or disco (and probably D2 but an email to the guys at Paddock or Innov wouldnt go astray.)

If you go to Stefanos Greek Disco 2 (Page 19 of Post up your rovers) it looks like he has got the 75mm flares on his- they dont look bad...

Hi Philippe,

Could you tell me the width of the opening at both the top and botom of the flare, the total width of the flare top and bottom and the height of the opening including total height of the flare.

By the way what is the depth, is it over 50mm?

Thanks

Just to clarify, i am after the flexible flares, Product code: 64-FWA from the innovation web site.

stikman, can you clarify that these are the type you have fitted, and not the GRP versions.

I don't want the clarke rubber look.....

Thanks

Sorry for the delay. Some rough measurements.

Front - Height at front ~150 opening + ~80 flare, Height at rear ~350 opening + ~80 flare, Width a top ~550 opening + ~80 flare, width at height of front low point ~710 opening + ~80 flare.

Back - Height ~350 opening + ~80 flare, Width a top ~540 opening + ~80 flare, width at middle ~760 opening + ~80 flare, width at bottom ~880 opening + ~80 flare.

Let me know if this is helpful or confusing

Flares sit 50 from the body, and looking at both Innovation and Paddocks i cannot see a 75mm version available in the Flexi Arche (Flare), 75mm only available in the GRP (fibreglass).

These are the ones i purchased (PM788) http://www.paddockspares.com/pp/OFF_ROA ... _of_4.html which i beleive are the same as 64-FWA from http://www.innovation4x4.co.uk/arches.htm

Hope this helps everyone.
