2 door disco (want 35's)

Post by Dash007 »

G'day all
I have a mate with a 2 door disco 96 mod.
Now we want to beef it up a bit, How much lift do we need to fit 35s at the most ? And where is the best place to do this as we also want

1, Snorkle

2, Winch bar

3, tyres and rims

4, lift
I no theres ARB but it's the $$$$$ factor.

Cheers Dash

I'm in Berwick Vic

2" spring lift

2" body lift

Cut the gaurds

Do it properly, Diff locks and stronger axles and diff gears, or diff conversion

They either scrub the crap out of your gaurds, or the springs are way to stiff

ontop of this get some good 8" -25 steel rims.
so long as the springs are not to stiff (220front and say 240rear, or 270 max if you intend on carrying heavy loads) you will get abit of scrub but nuthing to worry about.

Take the flares off and they will fit with no scrubbing.

Two inch lift should clear 35s.

What did you expect? Discoverys have 29in standard tyres. Not like a Patrol which has 31 or 32in tyres to start with.

Anything bigger than 31s require a guard cut on a Disco1.
