How much would this be worth

Post by rocknferoza »

A mate has a GU patrol chassis with all suspension and running gear minus the engine and also come with rear tray. He also has a complete 45 series fibureglass cab which needs sanding and painting.

Would $7000 be a good price? If not how much would u pay for the lot?
Was thinking about it as a project ;)

Thanx
James

If the 40 series cab is complete and in good condition i would pay $1000 for it, no more. as for the gu chassi its realistically worth around $3000 max

Sorry guys, I haven't been to a scrap metal yard in 2 years!

The bits are not worth $7000!

sounds like a GU with no engine, but complete apart from that, eg wheels the works.. which is worth a tad more than 3g's.. maybe I read the ad wrong

Wouldnt pay anywhere near 7k. It will probably cost you that much again to get it on the road by the time you add up all the extras.

Buy a petrol GQ for not much, toss the body and you have a chassis which is almost identical to the GU.
