IFZFE GEAR BOX AND IHZ GEAR BOX

hey guys just wondering if the bolt pattern on the ifzfe gear box is the same as the ihz. looking to fit a ihz in my cruiser which has a ifzfe in it.

The engine block to bellhousing pattern will be different, but you should be able to easily locate a diesel bellhousing which will bolt to the box to allow the conversion.

You'll also require either a turbo diesel flywheel and clutch to suit the 1FZ box, or use a unique clutch plate to convert the 1HZ pressure plate to the larger 1FZ input shaft.

For the clutch plate a FZJ75 plate does the job it has the 14 spline centre and 280mm diameter same as the 1HZ ( FZJ80 and HDJ80 have a 14 spline 305mm clutch plate).

swt thanks for the info guys. i think i have everything else sussed at this stage. how will it go with the petrol diffs instead of the diesel diffs
