Where to go in melb

Post by brett5141 »

Hi All,

Looking at upgrading the suspension in the surf and wondering where you all reccomend in the South East suburbs of melb, I am in Narre Warren but can travel.

I have been qouted $1500 to replace the front torsion bars and new shockers and springs all way round which will also give a 2"lift, anyone know if this is good or not.

Cheers

You can simply dial up the factory torsion bars for 2" lift.

Get on to Ironman re coils and shocks.

I run 3" + 200kg rear coils and foam filled shocks from ironman in my 4Runner.
All works pretty well for me.

You should be able to get coils and shocks fitted to rear for about $500.00

Cheers

Torsion bars are expensive and there is a bit of labour in changing them.

Get in touch with the boys at wombat offroad in ringwood.
