will the rear shocks from a 1981 40 Landcruiser fit the rear of a 60-62 series landcruiser??

40 series rear shocks are the same as the 60 series made up to 1986. These shocks are to suit 16mm mounting pins. Some time during 1986 the pins on the 60 series were changed to 19mm.

my 83 60 has 19mm pins i should of checked cheers anyway dazz

Thats weird. My 83 HJ60 has 16mm pins. According to the ARB and Ironman Ctalogues the 19mm pins were 86 (might have been 85?) and on?

Dragging this one up from the dead.......

I found today that OME make a bush to convert small eye shocks to fit onto the 19mm pins. Part number is OMEB9.
