Vibration since SPOA

Post by yldzuk »

i am currently doin a SPOA conversion on my suzi and is almost finished just got do some fine tuning. I thought it was al sweet to take for a test run and i have come across that it has a bad vibration when underload the whole car just vibrates i am currently running 3 inch raised leafes with 6" perches and the zlink steering system also under all this have 33"bfg allterrains and 6* spring wedges just wondering has anyone ever done this conversion with a similar problem and how they fixed the problem any info would be greatly appreciated cheers. I havent raised mine, but could it be because of the different angle now on the propeller sharts, it is working the uni's alot harder?

My guess would be the uj's too!!

You might have to use a cv instead, I think it is the uj off the back of the transfer (to rear diff) thats works hardest?
Have you checked to see if the uj's are out of phase? Did you disassemble/reassemble the drive shafts at all?

Take out the 3" springs and replace with flatter springs and buy a crossover/high steer setup

looked for standard leafs locally and no one had any at reasonable price otherwise i would have gone back to standard the local wrecker wanted $75 a spring which i thought was a bit steep

*edit* where'd it go???

You should get some vibration reducing tips on there. The tech is great!
