Hi all,
I am owner of Pajero 3.0 V6 1993 LHD Super select.and I have problems
to right hand inner shaft removal.
I have tried also with an sliding hammer to flange from differential carrier but without result.
you have some tricks ?

Hi i have the same problem, i am going to try again tomorrow to remove it via a slide hammer, if not i shall be changing the axle..any tips anyone please? :roll:

I'd say just keep at it. I've removed several from Gen I trucks using a slide hammer. Some come right out after only a couple hits with the slide hammer, others have taken lots of force and many hits. You should get it eventually.

My gen2 I just use the CV as a slide hammer not much force required
Pajero GLX 2.8td 255/85/16 BFG muds 265/75/16 BFG AT's, articulator, 2.5inch lift, ball joint flip, rear sway bar disconnect and lots of mods.

exactly what iv always done. Worked a treat every time, and like glenn said, not that much force needed. Dont have to worry about it anymore :D

with a slide hammer it will try to pull on a angle,and it wont come out at all !use the cv as doiong this it will pull it out straight then the cir clip will let go and all will be good .if u persist with the slide hammer u risk the chane of damage to uur diff centre.same as a front wheel drive .if u try leaver it out it wont come but if u use the cv it will .best of luck.
