Gear box oil
Gear box oil
hey i did my clutch the other day and all the oil in my gearbox drained out the back where the jack shaft is. What oil do i use? and where do i fill it up?
Just regular gear box oil from Super cheap or repco or anywhere is fine. The right way to fill it is from the side (there will be a 1/2 inch plug on the bottom and side) Remove the side one, when it comes out, its full, alternativly you could also remove the gear stick, and fill from the top, from memory the gear box takes 1.3L, the transfer 800ml.
Hope that helps.

90W is the correct stuff. As said, this is generic gear oil.
I thought the plugs were 3/8" square drive not 1/2" ?
If you don't know when the oil was changed in the diffs and transfer do them as well.
