another over heating rover what a surprise

Post by rusty_042 »

hey all just had our first test run in warbodon an we got some really good info back on things we need to do

mainly suspension additions an electrical but the hole day the car was over heating basicly every 10 min it would be redline heat wise
i have had problem with it since new but mainly at the start it ws due to just runnin water only.

since then i have pulled it out cleaned it an pulled all the dead birds out refitted with vt v8 twin thermos running nulong concentrate about 6ltrs rest was distiled water

the thermo were running constant but stillit kept boiling
it does look like its leaking out of the side tank but still there is alot of fluid in there any ideas what could cause this?

Oh, thought you had a 308? ignore the hose bit then, need to get the radiator cleaned properly if it was full of crap, or atleast another one, replace the thermostat, then try again ;) Edit, ahhh, thermos :D

Does it overheat all the time, only slow? only fast?

Proof read your post before hitting the button to, please :?
