GRPABT1 wrote:Hey guys this may annoy some of you, it may not but I just had to let you guys know how awsome Jason and Chris at locktup are. I have ordered a fair bit of gear off them of late (gears, mighty kong etc) and a couple of times there were minor stuff ups that weren't reall their fault and nor did it bother me in the long run. Firstly due to some postage/frieght bungle to do with thanks giving day in USA the gears took quite some time to get here (no problem cause I wasn't in a rush). Then I ordered a mighty kong bash plate/transfer mount and the matching gorilla grip unbreakable mounts, which for some reason came with the wrong type of mounts becase the supplier packed the wrong ones in the USA  .

Now during all of this I had been emailing Chris the whole time who was extremely helpful, polite and ever apologetic. The guys had already thrown in a free DVD and the little input shaft bearing for the gears for my troubles but Chris mentioned that I may get a set of twin sticks to trial, FOR FREE! Now being someone who has never won anything in their life and that believes (up intul now) that nothing comes for free I was a little skeptical. So when this competition came up I thought oh well theres my twin sticks and figured I might aswell enter, which I did. Then I got an email 2 days ago saying that they had just sent me a present ¿ To which I replied "oh did I win the competition"? And to my suprise Chris informed me that the competition was still going but I had been given a set of twin sticks because I was a loyal valued customer

Well after all of this I was still a little skeptical...until this morning when I was woken up by a postal worker try to bash my door down  My twin sticks are now here  :D

So as I said this may piss some of you guys off who like me in the past have never recieved anything for free but hopefully it inspires some more of you to enter this competition knowing that these guys are genuine.
What do you think of the twins?

Jason
Looks like a good product, It would be handy if there wasn't any welding or bending involved but I understand that's cause not every zook is the same.

Being a uni student and on a tight budget i can only afford a lockrite for the front diff and a set of twin sticks would allow me to steer easier and reduce stress on the front driveline. Less breakages = more $$$ to spend at locktup4x4

Here's my Zook, it's a work in progress.
Needs a lift, gears and a fibreglass canopy with racks for the longboard.
Plus I think we need to test if the Evil Twins will fit between my bucket seats.

Apologies for reducing everybody's odds of winning these… NOT :D

C'mon RUFF hurry up with the announcement of the winner…

There's a pile of guys here who probably aren't getting any work done because they keep checking to see who's won.

Suppose we could subscribe to the topic. But then everyone (me included) who keeps posting here… Make the poor buggers (who've subscribed) check Outer's to see who's won after receiving their email notification.

Sorry if you've just received an email notification and have gotten all excited… :finger:

On behalf of Evil Twin I would like to thank Loktup4x4 for conducting the raffle. I would also like to Congratulate 84Zooksta on winning the raffle. We're sure you will enjoy your Evil Twin for many years to come. If you want to read an article on installation, you can find one here written by Izook -http://www.izook.com/tech/samurai/drive ... ltwins.htm We include detailed installation instructions and photos with every kit. It should be pretty straight forward.

If there's anything else you need just let me know. I hope you all enjoyed the thrill of the raffle and we look forward to making a presence down under with the Evil Twin. :D
