clutch sound
clutch sound
i have had a noise in my clutch now since i brought the zook but its got louder and im a little worried about it from research i have done it seems that it is either the throwout bearing or the thrust bearing but just seeing if anyone has any ideas on how to fis the problem so ok when i have my clutch in there si no noise but when i let it out there is a chunky bearing sound (sounds like sand has got into a bearing or a buggerd wheel bearing) is there any way i can fix this without getting a new clutch because this clutch is only 16months old cheers

If it makes the noise without the clutch depressed then the input bearing is faulty.
To replace the input bearing the box has to be stripped so it may as well be fully rebuilt.
Don't stress about it... my Zuki and my Sahara cruiser both do it.
I'll repair/replace if and when it blows up.
Zuki gearboxes are cheap.

ive just done a full rebuild on my gearbox and i have the same noise when clutch is out (foot of pedal) and i know the bearing is not stuffed as it is brand new.
