Might not line up with the bodywork. NL has the "factory body lift" where the body sits higher on the chassis. NH doesn't.

If you're prepared to take the extra step it shouldn't be a big job to modify the height. Have a good look at how the bar mounts?

Ah but, the factory bumper mounts must have been lifted to match the body. I put of fitting a 2nd hand ARB bar of a "low body" NH to my "high body" NJ because I never had time to muck around with lifting the mounts only to find it fitted on without needing to be lfted.

I think the only difference between GLX and GLS bars is slight notching on the inner rear corners of the wings to suit the factory flares.

If anything you may need to trim up the wings of the bar to suit the factory flares or (more likely) the bar may have more than enough clearance already.

Thanks for reply , i had a chat to friend at ARB and there seems to be a different bar just for the (GLS 97 + Exceed) model all other models will fit fine. But he is goingt o have a look at the tech specs for me.

I will have a alloy bar for sale next week if I get my winch bar, on a 1996 NJ GLS with factory flares/plastic.

Interested in info for fitting a GLX steel bar to a GLS, so we think it should just require some notching to go around the flares..?

Try Get Wrecked 4x4 wreckers in Deer Park. Just came from there and they have a few NH and NJ GLS with bars on them. One even had a poly bar on it.

Well i won the bar on ebay :)
have to hope it fits
My friend at ARB said the mounts for the gen 2 and 2.5 are identical the only difference is the wings (ie how much they come out for the flares)
So hopefully it fits and looks ok
