hey guys just looking for some opinions,
Ive fitted some front recovery hooks on my 100 series, just wondering if using 4x high tensile washers as spacers is putting extra strain on the bolts and creating weak points or could i get away with it?

If it's all pulled up tight and even and flat I can't see any real issues Matty. If you are uncomfortable though get a small bit of 5mm,by the looks, flat plate and drill a hole in it. It might only be in side loading if there were any that the washers might not be the best, like if you were recovered on a bit of an angle in theory the mount could twist a bit at that point where you don't have full coverage underneath but it wouldn't be much. Me though I'd still prefer a bit of plate.matty00 wrote:hey guys just looking for some opinions,

Side note I was goign to make some fo these for me and some mates possibly. Any chance you could give me an idea on size to compare to what I was going to do. Most importantly thickness or material but also width of plate where it bolts to chassis and how long/wide the actual recovery hook section is. Also size of hole would be handy.
