any reason you dont want to turbo it?

What sort of comps are you thinking of?

basically stick to the small things like extractors n mab a cam and little bit of head work, any more than that and your basically throwing money away. You can make them make big power n/a but it will lose its low reving torquey nature and drivability and cost an arm n a leg.
There is a reason why every one does the same old thing and turbos them, because it works, being different will only burn big holes in your pockets for not alot of joy.

otherwise go for it itd be cool to see a cammed up heavily ported, high compression, high reving tb45 sounding like a old school stock car

Listen Dick, Im assuming thats your name? (you did sign your last post didnt you?)

Did you think to put that down in the first place, "I've tryed this and that, but Im not a happy little bitch yet"... ? common sense would suggest that.

Then people would know not to waste their time suggesting shit that you've done... again, basically common sense.. You should google it.

About the only things i can think of are extractors/ larger pipe, cam, better plugs/leads and a aftermarket ecu. I put a Microtech as a piggy back on my factory computer and got a fair bit more power out of my TB42e. Hope this helps..
